In the research base of Ganymedo-10, situated near the Callispo Canopy Sanctuary, an unfortunate gray cat from another world was unwillingly sent to build relations with the mech company of Drac Tech located on the alien planet of Athltea. They were now in a registry room in front of a Drac Tech employee to have his identity registered. For a little context, first contact with the inhabitants of Athltea was made three months ago, and in that time span, this planet and the other worlds have established friendly relations and exchanged information. And so, to build further relations, the other worlders were requested to partake in the capture of a few alien specimens known as Lumivex.

The specific object of interest to capture was a dangerous alien parasite, capable of exuding debilitating radiation to paralyze its prey before closing in to feast. However, it wasn't an alien with a monstrous form that attacked with fleshy teeth or acid but a simple puddle of black latex goo with a prominently luminous cyan hue. But don't let its simplicity fool you as the parasite’s food is any organic thing it can get its goo on; blood, sweat, flesh, seed, anything. And to help with such a task, the Lumivex can shapeshift into its past prey which allows it to have increased intelligence and the ability to administer potent aphrodisiacs, allowing it to milk its prey relentlessly.
Luckily, those who were unfortunate to share living space with the Lumivex weren't defenseless, as Drac Tech had developed energy rifles along with special backpacks to exterminate and harvest the harmful parasites. Along with these handheld devices, Drac Tech also had the PDA’s at their disposal. The PDA’s use is similar to a mech suit that requires a pilot, standing at 2.5 meters tall as a weapon of battle and is used to ease the capture or extermination of the Lumivex. But the PDA did not run on electricity nor hi-tech power cells of the future but on the sperm of the pilot.
The PDA resembled a robotic dinosaur with a yellow visor and contained a hollow interior lined with soft, rubbery latex with slots on the insides of its limbs where a pilot could mount. Using the slots of the limbs, a pilot could insert their body into the cockpit to fuel the PDA via milking through full-body simulation. Now registered, Kitt reluctantly picked up his new ID, bulky weapon, and a small black case before proceeding out of the registry room and back outside. There, the new rookie hunter admired the sight of the base, its surroundings, and bustling activity. There were other people around, most notably guards and researchers but what caught Kitt’s eye were the PDAs that roamed freely around the compound, helping move supplies for the researchers and heavy weapons for the soldiers. The dinosaur shape of the PDAs was what piqued Kitt’s curiosity and wondered why they were that way and if they were living beings or robots controlled by AI. But after admiring the hi-tech base, its PDAs, and the distant rainforest, Kitt finally examined his equipment, starting with his weapon.
“This thing is in the shape of a flamethrower but certainly isn’t one. It’s probably some sort of futuristic laser weapon. It’s also huge but somehow light? Gosh, it’s a crime that I know how to handle a weapon, even something that I literally haven’t touched before! This looks like the trigger and while this looks like the safety. I should get off the shooter games… Ugh! Why choose me for this assignment!!!”

Kitt was still angry about being forced to become a hunter for his own world’s progress as he was supposed to be at home playing a survival game that coincidentally involved dinosaurs in it. Nevertheless, Kitt held his head high and just wanted his forced job to be over with and inspected the black case next.
“Is… Is this a badge? Am I supposed to go to some sort of armory to get my real armor?”
The rookie hunter was shocked by the second piece of equipment they were supplied with, being a simple gray badge with a smooth carbon texture along with the logo of Drac Tech. “Eh?! What is this!”
The badge quickly melted into goo, sprawling around Kitt’s entire body in the blink of an eye. Kitt didn’t even have time to save his clothes as they were swiftly disassembled by the nano goo and replaced with a tight-fitting latex suit. Then, a perfect cat-shaped helmet was formed which immediately stuck onto Kitt’s face. To finish the transformation, the nano goo made armor plates, rough gloves, tough work boots, and a gas mask to aid in travel and extra protection.

“Woah! This is amazing! That was so fast too! But… How do I take this off? Nggh… Nggha!!! I can’t even pull the helmet off! Well, the suit doesn’t feel too hot and I still feel light. I’m too scared to come back inside to ask for help because they might think I’m a helpless idiot, so I’ll just… get going now.”
The lack of proper training due to accelerated registry was the reason for Kitt’s gap in knowledge about his equipment but since he was ready to take off, he thought to just ask for help once he came back. With his ID in hand, Kitt presented it to the gate guard and was let out quite easily, even with his recruit status. And so Kitt’s mission began to partake in the harvest of some Lumivex. Along with the nanotech badge that Kitt found in his black case, he also found a tablet inside which acted as his map. There were already a few spots on his map marked for investigation, being ranked from lowest to highest in danger. Obviously, Kitt proceeded to the hotspots with the least risk.
The tablet also provided contact with the research base as well as different methods of detection, being able to project a screen onto Kitt’s helmet visor to scan for heat and electromagnetic signatures. There was also a scanning mode for radiation, similar to a Geiger counter. It wouldn’t make sense to be looking for radioactive materials in a rainforest, but since this is an alien rainforest we are talking about, Kitt didn’t neglect the scanning mode and kept it in mind. Another thing that Kitt kept in mind was a note that came with his market map, mentioning a PDA that had wandered off, with those hunters on duty to be tasked with finding and guiding it back to base.
